Advanced use of the shortcut - with display of the update status

The article Shortcut to update anti-spam details a simple method to automate the anti-spam update, using Apple's "Shortcuts" application. It relies on a Shortcut that is proposed automatically when the app is installed.

We propose to use a more complete Shortcut that will display the result of the anti-spam update in a notification.

To use this new Shortcut, very easy ! Just click on this link Refresh anti-spam with notification and add this Shortcut in your device.

1. First use

We recommend you to launch manually the Shortcut the first time to validate the needed permissions.

Indeed, during this first use, you will have to validate the following 2 permissions:

• Allow the Shortcut to run actions from Orange Phone app.

• Allow the display of notifications

      2. Automation of this Shortcut

You only need to automate the running of this Shortcut (tab Automation, like described in the article Shortcut to update anti-spam) so that the anti-spam update is launched every day automatically and you can follow the result of this update.

      3. Using back tap to launch the update

To facilitate the usage of this Shortcut, you can associate this shortcut with a simple action : tap 2 or 3 times on the back of your iPhone to launch the update of the anti-spam.

To make this simple action, you have to associate the update anti-spam Shortcut with this action to tap on the back of the phone.

For that, you have to follow these configuration steps:

1. Go to Settings > Accessibility

2. In this menu, go in the entry Touch

3. In the bottom of this menu, click on Back Tap

4. You can then choose to tap 2 or 3 times on the back of the phone to launch the action. Click on the line to choose the action to launch

5. Go down in the page to see the list of Shortcuts and choose Refresh anti-spam with notification

6. You can go back once to check that the update action is well associated to the tap on the back of the phone

Now, whenever you want, you just have to tap 2 or 3 times on the back of your device to launch the update of the anti-spam!

      4. Adding the Shortcut in the lock screen

You can add this Shortcut in the Lock Screen of your device.

To do so, please follow these instructions:

• From the lock screen, make a long click to enter the Edit mode

• Click on Customise on the bottom of the screen and choose Lock screen on the left

• Click on the widget zone displayed under the hour

• Choose the icon corresponding to the Shortcut app : the icon will be added in the widget zone

• Click on the icon just added in the widget zone and select Refresh anti-spam with notification as shortcut to associate

• Click on Done to validate the configuration and on the screen to go back on the main page

You just need to click on the widget from the lock screen to update the anti-spam!

If you didn't launch the shortcut previously, the 2 permissions described higher in the article may be asked.
